The Environment : a major asset We are aware of the environmental impacts that our activities can have. The ''Celluloses de Brocéliande'' company has put into place an environmental protocol and obtained the ISO 14001 in 2009. |

Conform to legal requirements.
Decrease the weight of our products and packaging
Since 1990, the weight of our nappies has decreased by 43%.
Control the consumption of energy to reasonable use.
We have optimised the lighting in our workshops and our warehouses to decrease the
electricity consumption.
Limit waste production and promote waste recovery.
We sort our different types of waste. 80% of the waste produced is recovered (for example we
re-use the off cuts of paper paste from our manufacturing of sanitary products, for the
production of single use industrial towels). Waste that cannot be recovered is treated in an
incinerator that produces energy.
Limit or prevent pollutions and nuisances by implementing improvement measures.
Permanently improve our environmental performances.
Our air filtration system, used in our factory, is 10 times more efficient compared to the legal
level.
